What have I done here?

Haha. This is a question that I ask myself all the time. I know darned well when I start something that it’s never as simple as I think it is. I am always, one hundred percent of the time, correct. Yet I keep doing it.

Will I ever learn?

Apparently NOT.

So what am I doing here, right this very minute? I am creating my first blog and I haven’t got a freaking clue as to how this is done. I even bought a book called “Blogging for Dummies” but I have gotten only to page 2. hahahaha.

I am one of those jump right in kinda people. I could give a flying fig about rules or instructions. Those are for the lame of heart. Me……….I like adventure. Always have, and always will. I am a hands on learner, and I like it that way.

So I asked the question on my Facebook Tribe page…….what do you want to see in a blog, and let me tell you, I got some fantastic ideas!!!

- Some want to see and hear about our Boutique Market Show – what goes into organizing them?

- Some want me to blog about being a self appointed pie queen with recipes, tips, etc.

- Other like the everyday…….different food/bakeries/shopping blogs. OMG Three things that I TOTALLY love!!!

- The process of getting ready for vendor events. Oh, this can be fun or it can be annoying!!

- Some want to hear about family, time management, the pets. How do I get it all done in a day (trust me I don’t!!!)

- Other love how outspoken and opinionated I am. That comes from years of sitting back with my mouth shut and not seeing things get done (from a work perspective mostly) I can’t stand unfinished projects!!!

- Ah…..crafts!!! Yes, let’s do some of those too!!!

- Another says………I’d like to know the things that vendors can do to make a show easier and successful. Let me tell you this!!! PROMOTE, PROMOTE, PROMOTE!!!

- Anything and everything that can be blogged about……girls day trips, pie queen escapades, my wee cottages, events I do, and time spent with family. Some say I am an interesting woman (well that came from one of my besties, I pay her in caramels LOL).

- Another would love a blog about marketing products. Ohhh, good idea!!!

- Thrifting finds!! OMG I am in heaven doing that!!!

Another few people have been inspired by my recent weight loss journey, and would love to hear about that.

How do I manage my busy life??

Well let me tell you something……….there are doers, and there are non-doers. I think that typically, I’ve always been a doer. I’ve had my moments where I just want to be left alone for a bit and do nothing. And guess what?? That is very helpful in the whole creative process, I swear.

I am one of those people who is always full of hope. Hope that one day, the world will be happier. Hope that I get to grow old and see grandkids. Hope that my daughter will become that wonderful person that she is on her way to being. Hope that one day there will be a cure for all cancers that everyone can afford.

I can go on and on, but by now, I think you probably have a bit of a handle on who I am.

I really want to that my lovely friend Denise Testa. Denise is a digital creator and she has promised me that this isn’t hard and that I’ll do fine. I am depending on her!!

I want to thank all my other lovelies that ask me to do stuff with them, that want me to be in their inner circle because somehow, I add to that. That is a wonderful feeling for sure.

For as long as I live, I know………I JUST know, that my adventurous side will always be there. Probably even in the nursing home. I can see me now………in my wheelchair, down at the community room, singing karaoke, or leading a craft class. That’s me. Cuz I like to be involved.

This drives both my husband, and my daughter crazy. They aren’t exactly like me. In fact, Dan and I are exact opposites. I am and extrovert, he is an introvert. I love days out with friends, he doesn’t have many friends to go anywhere with. He loves that…….not so much me. I like to be in the presence of people to inspire me and who can teach me a thing or two.

So…………join me here every couple of days if you can and see what kind of nonsense or fun that I get in to.
